Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of products and services provided by Major 7 Apps, LLC (“we”, “us”), including Sam (sam.build), Capital Companion (capitalcompanion.ai), and related tools. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Our Services

• Sam — An AI-powered task automation platform that performs research, data cleanup, and content creation on your behalf.
• Capital Companion — An AI-powered trading analysis platform providing stock analysis, risk management tools, and real-time market alerts.
• Open-source tools — MCP servers and related infrastructure published under open-source licenses on GitHub.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.

Subscription and Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Usage-based charges (overages) are billed at the end of each billing cycle.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any illegal purpose
• Abuse compute resources or circumvent usage limits
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our services
• Use our services to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or violates third-party rights
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access
• Interfere with the operation of our services or other users' access

Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of content you create using our services, including task outputs, analyses, and generated documents.
• Major 7 Apps retains all rights to the platform, software, algorithms, and underlying technology.
• Our open-source tools are licensed under their respective open-source licenses.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

• Our services use artificial intelligence to generate analyses, summaries, and other outputs.
• AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as financial, legal, medical, or professional advice.
• Capital Companion outputs do not constitute investment recommendations. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated content.

Limitation of Liability

• Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Major 7 Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Service Availability

• We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Free-tier users receive best-effort service with no uptime guarantees.
• We may perform maintenance with reasonable advance notice when possible.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with 30 days' notice.

Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@major7apps.com or through your account settings.
• We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be deleted.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through our services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
