Introduction

Major 7 Apps, LLC (“we”, “us”) operates Pensyve (pensyve.com), QueryPlan (queryplan.dev), Capital Companion (capitalcompanion.ai), and related open-source tools. Pensyve is governed by its separate privacy policy below. The remaining sections explain how we collect, use, and protect information for QueryPlan, Capital Companion, and related tools.

Pensyve Privacy

The Pensyve Privacy Policy governs data handling for the Pensyve website, API, and managed service, including its local-first boundaries. The remaining disclosures on this page do not apply to Pensyve unless that policy says otherwise.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, password (hashed)
  • Payment information: processed securely through Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
  • Usage data: features used, session duration, task types, API calls
  • Market data (Capital Companion): watchlists, portfolio holdings, alert preferences
  • QueryPlan account and progress data: passed exercise identifiers and timestamps, entitlement status, team membership, and progress summaries
  • Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system

QueryPlan Browser-Local Data

Learner SQL, schemas, query results, and execution plans run in the browser and are not sent to QueryPlan servers.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and improve our services
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send transactional emails (receipts, alerts, account updates)
  • Monitor service performance and prevent abuse

For QueryPlan, we use essential cookies for authentication and session management. QueryPlan's optional Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics are enabled only with your consent. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Usage logs are retained for 90 days. Payment records are retained as required by law. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your Rights

You may:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format
